Local markets (2 hrs)

Then there’s the famous Noordermarkt, which has a flea market that is only running at Monday morning from 9 am to 1 pm, and at Saturday there’s a farmers market from 9 am to 3 pm. Noordermarkt is located nearby Central Station in the famous Jordaan district.
Another flea market is Waterlooplein, next to the Amsterdam City Hall. It is open six days a week except Sundays from 9 am to 6 pm. There’s a lot of second hand decoration and clothes for sale and a lot of souvenirs.
The last famous market is downtown as well, at Singel between Koningsplein and Muntplein, is the bloemenmarkt, the flower market. The tulip is a symbol of Holland and a lot of those bulbs and many other flowers and plants are sold here. Officially it’s only open during daytime, but for the tourists many of those shops are open in the evening as well.
Metropolitan Deli ½ hr

From early morning until late evening you can get here the best homemade Italian ice cream, great coffees and the most delicious chocolates. Most of the products are made of fairtrade and organic ingredients.
Besides eatable products the sell items like chocolate body wash or chocolate body lotion.
Condom shop ½ hr

It is a wonderful small shop with condoms in all sizes, flavours, colours and much more. They sell a lot of fun articles as well, so if you’re looking for a nice souvenir or gift, you should go to Warmoesstraat 141. The shop is open everyday from 11 am to 6 pm, except on Sundays.
Doubletree hotel Skylounge (2 hrs)

The Skylounge terrace offers a dramatic vantage point for taking in the beautiful views across the city. It is a great place to hangout in the evening for a nice wine, cocktail or bottle of Champagne. At this website you can make a reservation for a table.
When you come from central station on the city side, just walk to the left. It's the first building on the eastern side of the central station. The address is Oosterdokskade 4.
Bierfabriek (2-3 hrs)

They are open Monday to Thursday en Sunday from 12 pm to 1 am and on Friday and Saturday from 12 pm to 3 am. The Address is Rokin 75, but they also have an entrance on the other side of the building at de Nes.
Droog Design (1-2 hrs)

The address is Staalstraat 7B (close to the famous Waterlooplein). The opening hours are from Tuesday to Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm and on Sunday from 12 pm to 5 pm. The place is closed on Mondays.
Fa. Speijkervet (2 hrs)

The place is open for lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday from 11 am to midnight. You can go to the restaurant with tram 13 or 14 stop Admiraal de Ruijterweg. Or tram 7, stop Jan Evertsenstraat. The address is Admiraal de Ruijterweg 79. Reservations can be made by phone: +31 20 2236004.
